Lacrosse, The Universe
I shot all these photos one cold (San Diego-cold :)) winter night in 2008 on the UCSD lacrosse field. The dense fog created an eerie and deceptively calm atmosphere that was occasionally punctuated by bursts of frantic activity as a group of players would storm the gate I positioned myself at. Then the ball and the players would disappear again into the fog, and the calm would restore. Until the next attack.

This photo-essay received a Honorable Mention at the “International Photography Awards” in 2009.
